None

Pro-choice a) Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
Yes b) Do you support legalizing abortion when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
No c) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
To be in a difficult position where you have to decide wether to terminate or go through with a pregnancy and raising a child is not something women take lightly. This is a choice that will stay with them forever.
Yes a) In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing state employee salaries AND/OR pensions?
No b) In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No c) Should businesses with over 500 employees be taxed for every employee they have?
California is the most taxed state and that is one of the reasons many people are leaving. We need accountability for the taxes collected and the services rendered. There is a lot of duplicity in government and I will reduce that.
Yes a) Do you support a limit on campaign contributions to state candidates?
Yes b) Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Yes c) Do you support the use of an independent AND/OR bipartisan commission for redistricting?
Yes d) Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls?
No e) Do you support automatic voter registration?
As an immigrant, when I became a citizen, I was told voting was the GREATEST right in America. I believe that and I exercise that right. The voting lists should be cleaned up annually for people that have passed etc. I do not agree that people of color would be restricted from voting if ID's would be required to vote. That is insulting to say they can not access getting ID's. We need ID's to do almost everything. If there are people that have difficulty getting ID's then let's fix that issue.
Yes a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes b) Should an individual under 18 accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult?
No c) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
No d) Do you support the use of private prisons in California?
Yes e) Do you support mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenders?
These are not yes or no questions and they should be treated in a case by case basis. Crime has risen dramatically since the start of the pandemic and communities want Law & Order restored. We need respect for laws and citizens who wear a badge and each other. State and local police should be enforcing federal immigration law because that will stop people in fear of that will not report crimes and they could be abused and taken advantage of. I believe in upholding the immigration laws of the country but police should not ask for immigration status.
Yes a) Do you support state government spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes b) Do you support lowering state income taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes c) Do you support reducing government regulations on the private sector?
No d) Do you support requiring welfare applicants to pass a drug test in order to receive benefits?
No e) Do you support an increase of the minimum wage of California?
Yes f) Do you support requiring employers to provide paid family leave?
Yes g) Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
No h) Do you support the creation of multi-housing in areas previously zoned for single family housing?
i) Other or expanded principles:
Yes a) Do you support adopting federal education standards in California?
No b) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
Yes c) Do you support increasing teacher salaries AND/OR benefits in California?
Yes d) Should immigrants unlawfully present in the United States who graduate from California high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?
I believe education is THE key to ending systemic poverty. That could mean a 4 year college, trades and trade schools. Families and communities have to make education a priority for the next generations. There are some cultures that resent younger generations from doing better than the previous generations. That has to change. Education has to be relevant to students and not just a place to remember information. Educate students on paths to employment, life skills, improving their communities and how that helps everyone enjoy a better, safer life.
Yes a) Do you support state funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
Yes b) Do you support government regulations of greenhouse gas emissions?
Yes c) Do you support increasing state funding for clean drinking water initiatives?
Yes d) Do you support state regulations on fuel economy standards?
Yes e) Do you support allowing homeowners to buy into a shared community solar energy system?
I would repeal the all electric car sales by 2035. We do not have the power grid to support that. Mining for the lithium that goes into electric car batteries is toxic. Disposing of used batteries is dangerous and toxic and usually shipped to other countries. Most electricity is powered by coal and there are over 800lbs of petroleum products in each car. Hydrogen and ethanol could be alternate power sources.
Yes a) Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Yes b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?
Yes c) Should teachers be allowed to bring guns into the classroom after passing gun safety training?
Yes d) Should a license be required for gun ownership?
I stand behind the 2nd amendment. I would like to have licensing for guns to be similar to cars where there needs to be an annual license renewal for fire arms, and reviews for any complaints of mental instability.
Yes a) Should the state government increase funding for treatment facilities to combat opioid abuse?
Yes b) Do you support Medicaid expansion through California's health care programs?
Yes c) Do you support requiring individuals to purchase health care insurance?
Yes d) Do you support legislation that grants citizens the right to choose to die through euthanasia?
Yes e) Do you support eliminating religious exemptions for vaccinations?
Yes f) Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
These are not necessarily yes or no questions. There is a lot of grey area here.
Yes a) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in California's anti-discrimination laws?
Yes b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in California's anti-discrimination laws?
Yes c) Do you support greater efforts by California state government in closing the pay gap between men and women?
I am against any discrimination.
I would cancel the Governors Emergency order and AB5. I am not an anti-vaxer but I do believe people have a choice wether to be vaccinated with emergency use only covid vaccines. None of the pharmaceutical companies providing Covid vaccines in the United States right now have NEVER had a vaccine approved before. People with compromised health should always be careful but we can't close the state for something that is treatable and has a less than 1% morbidity rate.
There are Billions available right now for the homeless crisis, which is almost at FEMA level emergency. The monies don't seem to be getting to the needs of the homeless and the communities that they are illegally living in. I would not defund the police. The crime rate has dramatically increased since the defunding. School Districts have a record amount of funding this year and it needs to go to the schools and needs for students and not pensions and unions.
